Wedding Planners in days gone by

In the days gone by, a wedding was usually not planned at all by the bride but by the matriarch of the family, church or community. Aunt Sarah made the cakes, grandma sewed the dress or you wore whatever best dress was available. The decorations may or may not happen. Depending on the area and the wealth of the family a party and feast after the wedding was normal feeding everyone before they had to travel home. Today, a wedding planner is there to make your wishes and dreams come true.
